i got a honda outboard at a garage sale its a cdi 4 stroke 7.5 hp model#BF75L
SERIAL# 1600706

WHAT YEAR IS THIS???????
WHERE CAN I GET PARTS???
IS THERE A DVD DIY MOTOR REPAIR VIDEO

IM IN SCHOOL AND CANT AFFORD TO TAKE TO A SHOP FOR REPAIR'S SO IM ON MY OWN ANY INFO ON THIS MOTOR WILL HELP ALOT

Many parts are available here at iboats. Check out the parts tab at the top left of this page. Also hondapartsus.com
I'm not aware of a video but Helminc.com is a source for factory repair manuals.
The Honda website may have the owners manual available for download.
Lots of knowledge here. Give us some details on the condition of the motor and your mechanical experience. Someone may be able to give a bit of advice.

first trying to find out the year so i can order the right parts??
the motor was sitting around for 3 years looks good but i have no clue before i got the motor the only thing i did was to make sure the motor turned.. so far so good so ant one know the year? so i can order parts

What parts do you need?With the exception of carbueration changes that engine is the same as a current BF8a. We can give you that # if you want it but most of us do'nt have that info sitting in front of us at home.
