96 150 Evinrude what is my model #

I saw that emdsapmgr was able to tell a guy his model # from a serial #..I need to figure out my model number if possible..here is a serial number I got off of a plug on the block. G3771212
If you can help me I would be very appreciative.

If it really is a 96 evinrude, the model number for a generic, carb'ed longshaft motor is

E150ELED An Extra long shaft would be E150EXED there may be an extra letter on the end as well that signified the model run.

Take the serial number off the power pack and look that up, see if ts listed for the 96, its always good to cross reference.

The serial number supplied is for a: 1995 J150GLEO produced on 8/11/94, shipped 8/18/94 and purchased on 9/10/94
