Replaced the DTDP switch for my nav lights. everthing is wired correctly (I think) but all I can get to work are the port/starboard and transom light (not the forward light) when up and all round light (anchor light) when the switch is down....the forward light will not light. can this be the switch?

thanks

Re: Nav light wiring

I replaced mine 2 years ago (wrong one installed) Someone gave me this "schematic" and it worked perfectly.
------------------------------------------------------------------

It is a 6 tab switch DPDT as mentioned

1 2

3 4

5 6

connect 1 and 5 to anchor light wire
connect 3 and 4 to power wire
connect 6 to nav light wire

You may need to buy jumper tabs to make the jumpers for 1/5 and 3/4

I made my own jumper wires.

Re: Nav light wiring

Here is the wiring (one way to do it) for a typical nav/ancor light system.
