Hi, I have a 1974 johnson 70hp on a 16' tri hual and have no idea what i need to do to prepare this motor for winter as far as making sure the water is out of it and nothing is damaged on my boat or motor by freezing weather. Some sugestions would be great! Thanks!

Use the search function to find many threads on the subject. Post anything you need clarifying.
Basically,
Store outboard vertical,
Change lower unit oil
Run fuel conditioner in your last tankfull
Fog motor
Put mothballs and downy sheets in the boat in various places
Cover well.
Look forward to spring.

Not necessarily in that order though and don't forget about the trailer. Grease bearings up and remove or take the weight off the wheels, cover the trailer electrical connection to stop it rotting out !!
Store with bow raised to drain any water that gets in if you are storing outside.
