On the bell housing assy. where the shift shaft passes up to the shift arm, the exploded views show only a bushing or two and maybe a washer. is this a seal assy. of some sorts? and should it be replaced during maintenance? only asking because on an exploded view of a Gen2 it is listed as an oil seal.
Also at the pivot flats of the bell housing where the hinge pins pass there is
supposed to be a nylon washer where the two flats meet, Yes? if so what would a part number be.
In the adults only section ther is a post on u-joints, would those u-joints be the same for earlier alphas?
And last is the OEM lower shift cable the best or is the sierra aftermarket
just as good.
