Hey guys! Nice forum you got here! Just here for the first time!

My friend has a 1989 Johnson "tracker" 40 horsepower. Model # TJ 40 ELCEC Which means.......Johnson Tracker Electric start Longshaft '89.

I'm looking for a power tilt/trim unit for him. Needs to be the 2 wire unit.

From what I understand, any 40-60 hp Johnson or Evinrude with tilt/trim '89 or newer should fit.

Any idea where to look for the best price? Any help would be much appreciated!!

If you don't want to by new, check salvage yards or Ebay, craigs list.

1987-1993 40 -50 hp should work. 60 is a 3 cylinder, doubt it will fit.
