For the truth is that I already know as much about my fate as I need to know. The day will come when I will die. So the only matter of consequence before me is what I will do with my allotted time. I can remain on on shore, paralyzed with fear, or I can raise my sails and dip and soar in the breeze.

Yep, carpe diem, dude.

A line from an olde poem about golf, that gives me the same feeling...

"A glorious, sailing, bounding drive,
that made me glad that I'm alive."

Golfers know this feeling.

Get out there and feel the wind in your hair and the spay on your face, Out there you are truly happy and Free!! I wouldn't even give it a second thought, I would be out in the wide open just being myself and doing what I love!!
