Im removing the pump, driveshaft, engine on 97 speedster jet boat. Im needing a little help with this project. I have remove some things from the pump but still seems locked to the rear hull of the boat I have a few pics to show maybe one of you guys can help tell me how to get it off. I wish there was away to pull out the engine without removing the pump first. Here are the pics...Im post one of the drive shaft too maybe someone can tell me what i need to do and where to get the drive shaft out...

either your pump is stuck on the transom// or your drive shaft is stuck in the impeller,, get a book and learn how to un do the cup at the carbon seal to release the drive shaft,, that way you can pull the pump with the shaft still attached,, once the shaft is out of the way you will have plenty of room to remove the engine,, if the pump is stuck usually tapping on it with a big rubber mallet will loosen it,, but you need to do the carbon seal first if the pump is loose you will never get the stainless cup to move forward to remove the retainer under it

Seem to me that the drive shaft may be seized in the impeller splines. I suggest disconnecting drive shaft at the PTO flywheel and let it come out with the pump.
In order to do that, you'll need to remove the clamps on the rubber boot at the PTO flywheel and then pull back on the floating s/s ring to remove rubber O-ring around drive shaft. This will allow the drive shaft to pull out with the pump. If you haven't kept the PTO splines greased then it could be seized also. Just keep working with it until it breaks free.
