Four winns 268 leaking water inside bottom of transom

I have a 2000 Four Winns 268 vista with a DPS drive. Water is leaking down by the Y pipe at a good rate. It is very hard to see with a flashlight and mirror due to space. I just had a new engine and lower unit installed on it. Mine is on a lift and when lowered down in the water my bilge pump kicks on about every 15 minutes to pump water out with or without the engine running. Any suggestions how to fix without pulling engine. I do not have a trailer and the company that did the work is now closed. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like the it could be the bellows or even the O-ring that seals the Y pipe to the inside of the transom... But of course you want to start with the simple things first, drain plug in good, etc...

Until you find where the leak is actually coming from, it's impossible to tell you how to fix it. We can guess everything on the back of the boat, but that isn't going to help either.
