Yesterday when I took my boat out two problems arose. One had to do with the fuel system which made the motor lose power and vibrate the boat the more I advanced the throttle. The other was when I put it in forward gear and started to go forward after about 50 to 100 ft the motor would jump once almost like it was kicking into gear and then it would be fine. I fixed the fuel problem by installing a new separator, filter and a new gas line. It has plenty of power now and no Vibrations. After taking it back out it still has that jump/bump in forward gear but only after going a little ways then it happens. Can anyone give me any ideas? do you think it could be the gears locking into place? If so how do I fix it? Its never happened before until the other day.
