1954 Fleetwin (7516) 7.5 HP starter recoil

Good Morning!

I have just acquired a '54 Fleetwin and am in need of the entire starter assembly. Does anyone happen to know where to start? Maybe an old Evinrude part number for this assembly. I have a service manual and owners manual and have been "googling" for hours trying to find a part number or someone who may be able to point me in the right direction. The assembly from this year is considered a simplex starter.

Maybe I can find a used assembly in working condition, if I can find the right source.

He still needs one. I found mine and it has a broken housing.
