Undersheriff Jon Zerby sent in these photos of a boat damaged in an explosion at Roche Harbor Wednesday, September 9, 2009. Boaters are reminded to ventilate engine compartments after fueling and before starting up.

He just wanted a wider beam. Looks like he gained about 6 inches on each side. Will just need a little bigger bilge pump to handle the seepage from those cracks on the side of the transom.

Seeing the damage, I bet the boat is totaled. I would not feel safe in that boat knowing it was stressed to the point of breaking. Too many seams, joints, etc have been pushed to the breaking point. I think it would be imposable to properly repair it.
