Also another reason not to take a boat out at night if you don't know the area like the back of your hand.

I run at night all the time on a river with stumps at surface level, you really need to be heads up the whole time the boat is moving.

I am in the procees of tying jugs to all of them in prep for fall when I have the top up, I have a GPS to and rarely run over 10mph.

It is actally pretty east to run at night once you figure out how to read the water, you can see a pop can floating from 200' if you are watching.

too bad. I would cry. 25K for an 80's boat sounds expensive too, but it did look pretty big. Hard to tell when its under water. and how do they determine so quickly that he doesnt have the money for clean up. just take his word for it I guess.
