my next ? is i hooked up my battrey to the motor(fully charged) and it barley turns it over does this motor require a heavy duty battrey w/850 cranking amps or is it a 24 volt system?:confused:

No, 400-500 cranking amps should spin it. 12v system.

Check all connections, clean and tight.

So, you bought this without running it?

no we started it with a emergency start cord it purrs like a kitten maybe my batterys are just worn out

You need to clean all of the connections at the engine side and the battery side. High resistance will cause this to happen.

If you don't know the condition of the battery, take it to Pep Boys, Autozone or Walmart and they will check it for you. (and sell you another if it is bad :D)
