i am rebuilding my motor and when i get it back in, i am just curious about setting the timming. do you use a timming light? somebody told me with the sensor in the dist. cap it sets it self as long as its on the right tooth. any ideas?

LOL, that's a good one. Obviously they no nothing about TB5 ignition system.
Hopefully by now you have downloaded the proper service manual for your engine. Look at the ignition section for the TB5. Detailed instructions are there for putting it into base timing mode and setting the timing.
