Engine Stalling at idle speed

Hi
I have a 1982 SeaRay with a 454 GM engine, Rochester 4bbl carb, 330HP TRS Outdrive. When running at low (idle) speed, about 600RPM if I try to inch up the gas I stall, boat starts right back up. If I give it more gas the boat will stay running only stalls when increasing the gas a very small amount.
Not sure if it is a carb adjustment or something else. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
