wood free construction, how recent?

Gonna buy a used boat soon and I'd like to not have to worry about soft floors and rotting stringers. How old a boat can I go without having wood in the construction? Thank you, Joe

depends on the brand. You'll have to research each one.

I went on some boat websites, but no info on their opder boats. I'm talkin 96',08', somewhere around there.

I understand, from this site, that some old MFG models have fiberglass flooring & stringers. I think almost all, including aluminum, have wood transoms.
