50 hp force runs great in neutral but less power when moving?

I have a 50 hp force (1990) that when I place it in neutral and give it full throttle it runs and sounds great, but when in regular run mode on the lake, it has much less power. What's my problem?

what do you mean much less power? Does it plane out?

Fuel starvation, dirty carbs, fouled plugs?

I had this ussue on my 90 50. it turned out to be firing on 1 cyl. check spark to make sure you are getting good spark to both cyl.
