After reading some posts about the Cobra outdrives and shifting problems, can someone tell me at what year the gears were changed from a 3 degree tooth to a 5 degree tooth, or is this a modification that the individual owner has to make ??
Considering buying another boat, but don't want to end up with something with a ton of headaches.
Afer reading more posts, let me stand corrected - it's not the gears, but the engagement lugs !!
