With the 22 pitch props on it should be Quicker out of the hole, On plane Quicker, And anyware from 200-400 higher RPMs at top speed, But you could lose around 2-4 mph at top speed on an avarage And also you should have a slower cruise speed at same rpm you normaly would like to run at with the 24 pitch props on.
Most guys will go down in prop pitch if they know they will be using the boat up in altitude.
But the most Important thing is getting your engines RPMs up to around your max RPMs your engine specks want you to run at with the drive trimed up a little bit while at WOT, And normaly you should be able to find the Max RPMs info for your engine on a sticker some place on the engine itself.
