Actually I have two questions
Firstly, Timing indicator appears to be missing. When checking TDC manually with probe on top of #1 piston it seems to line up at edge of starter nosing, well left of center. Does this sound correct?
Secondly, I've adjusted link & sinc., timing is probably quite close to correct. Engine runs fairly good throuhout it"s range, but doesn't seem to have full power when bringing the boat up onto a plane.
There appears to be a second linkage adjustment on the throttle linkage rod for highl RPM. (rear left side of engine where linkage connects for spark advance plate). I don't see anything in the manual.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
