Replace Ignition Sensor & Wheel When Tuning Up?

1996 Donzi Classic 22, carburated 454 w/ Thunderbolt ignition is running rough/stalling at at idle. Other than that, it's O.K.

Should I replace the ignition sensor and sensor wheel when doing a complete tune up?

Should I suspect the ignition module to be faulty?

Any other suggestions?

Thanks

I wouldn't replace it unless you can rule out everything else. Start with the standard plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and fuel filter. Those pickups don't fail that often, and in every case I've seen one fail, it resulted in no spark at all. Your issue sounds more like something needing a tuneup, and maybe a carb adjustment or cleaning.
