I want to install a radio in my 2007 Pro Guide 16 SC. Has anyone her installed one? I am looking for ideas for location and where you put the speakers.
i havent tried that. but i am paranoid about running out of battery juice even tho i know i can handstart my motor easily and carry jumper cables taht reach the troller battery *shrug*. i just take a small portable radio with me. you might try the local marina or boat repair folks to you about what makes a good marine stereo then look that model they suggest up on the internet and see what others are saying about it.
I have a 1995 Bass Tracker Pro Deep V-17 and put my cd player under the console,and a speaker in the front storage facing back,and one in the side storage facing to the center of the boat.It sounds good from anywhere in the boat.I wired it to my starting battery and have never been stranded,lol.
