I have twin 80s and I recently noticed that one of the outboards started to consume lots of oil and the oil is really dirty compared to the opposite outboard. I also noticed that when I removed the cowling cover I saw oil inside, which I have never seen before. WHAT CAN THIS BE?

a leak down test may help pin point the problem. may be exesive blow-by or other type of internal problem.
