I just replaced the trim motor since it rusted to pieces....When i put everything back together the motor runs fine but the hydraulics do not move. I can clearly hear that the pump is not engaged even though the drive shaft is spinning fine. It acts like there is no prime but is that possible? Could it be the manual relief valve? it is full of oil...
Any and ALL help is much appreciatted....
What to do..????

Update...
I took it all back apart today...The problem is still that it sounds like the pump is NOT priming.
1-The relief valve seems to be working fine as i can use it to move the motor up and down as well as hold.
2-there is plenty of fluid as and you can hear it run but no ram movement.
3-There is no grey sludge as i took the manifold out and rebuilt it.
4- I have opened the manual relief valve and went through the fuill range about 10-15 times. while running the trim motor and without...
NOTHING!!!! Please help I would like to go out tomorrow on Labor Day with everyone else:)

I don't knowif it will help, but I had to rebuild my older 135hp inline 6cylinder trim cylinders and Ihad to open to bleader vents on the cylinder to get fluid to them then keep adding fluid as I blead the system. Hope this helps and good luck.
