Hello to all. First post on the Mariner forum. My buddy has the above engine which has an plastic fuel oil tank under the cowl. It works fine but when the motor is tilted up for transit, oil runs out the fill cap and soaks the inside cowling foam and starts dripping out making a heck of a mess. Is there a fix for this other than only filling the tank to 1/3 full? Anyone else having the same issue? Thanks, Rick.

If you notice almost all of those have an oily mess inside!
Other than putting a peice of plastic wrap under during transport:eek:

Have same problem, Nothing too do. Top off with oil after engine is level at the start of the day.
