Hello, I have a 1957 Evinrude Sportwin 10 hp. I posted last week. I found out that it may be beyond my ability to change the duel line fuel system to a single line type. Does any one know if I could get a small 12 vt electric type of fuel pump that has a pressure switch that I could hook up to my battery to my carb intake line. It will have a cap of 24 gallons per hour, and 5-7 psi of pressure. Is that to much or not enough? If so does any one know if I need to do anything special to the old type fuel systen to keep from hurting my motor? Thank You, Michael 1

Just out of curiosity, why are you wanting to switch over? Properly maintained, (read rebuilt) the pressure tanks work great. Very simple and trouble free.

You don't want to jerry-rig some kind of electric pump on there! M-I-C......K-E-Y M-O-U....... You get the idea. Plus it's very definitely not coast guard approved!

Cheers..................Todd
