1977 evinrude 115 hp pee hole

This 77 evinrude is new to me, I hooked the water hose to it and started it up , where is the pee hole on this motor to tell if the water pump is working?
Is it the two holes about the size of my pinky finger?

those are the exhaust relief holes. They'll spit water once the t-stat opens up. The '77 doesn't have a tell-tale.

they are actually the indicator, at idle you should get mist or droplets.
