F115 2002:
At low RPM (800 to 2000), when I start engine voltage rises to 14,4V and after 1 or 2 minutes increases slowly up to 16,4V at 800RPM and 17V around 2000RPM.
When cruising (more then 3500 RPM), voltage decreases and becomes stable at 14,4V all the time.
I checked by battery (100A), I changed battery cables all is perfect, with no load, voltage is 12,6V.
Do you think it can be the regulator that doesn't work at low voltage coming from alternator ?
If yes, how I can be sure because in my country regulator is very expensive ($300)
