I recently purchased an evinrude 7.5 hp shortshaft, but the mdel # is 5520-16497. Which made it 5.5 hp made in 1960. Before I payed the seller he said a carb upgrade was done to make it a 7.5 hp. It ran so good and he threw in a new gas tank with primer bulb I bought it anyway for 175.00 Is only a carb upgrade needed to make an old 5.5 a 7.5? Where can I get an owners manual . Thank to all.
