Default Burnt #3 cylinder on Yamaha 200ETLN

So it looks like I burnt a cylinder on my Yamaha 200ETLN last time out. I pulled the head and #3 cylinder is badly scored. Top of the piston is intact but I imagine that the rings failed or a piece of the piston skirt broke off. The failure occured at about 4500 RPM with very little trim after about 10 minutes of running.

I will break down the motor in the spring and undertake the rebuild. My local marina (who are good guys in my experience) have told me that I should expect to see the bill start at 2500 and go up from there depending upon what they find once the motor is open. They suggested that I could save a fair bit of money if I pulled the powerhead and brought it to them. I think that once I have gone to the trouble of pulling the powerhead I may as well do the rest of the work myself. I have rebuilt car engines from the ground up and have a good set of tools so I feel OK about doing this project.

Just a couple of questions:

I want a good manual as a reference. Would you recommend a Clymer or the Sel0c 1701?

I imagine that the cylinder will have to be bored out so I will do all 6 while the engine is apart. Any suggestions on how far to over bore - 20 thou - and a good source for oversized pistions?

Thanks for the advice.
