i have a 1977 merc 850 85 hp with electronic ignition. the past owner cut all the wires and used some extra heave wires to replace the originals GRRRRRRRRRR. i have looked at a bunch of wire diagrams but none that match the engine plug i have the plug has # 45876 molded on it.<a href="http://s118.photobucket.com/albums/o110/leserz2002/?action=view¤t=bomberboat057.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i118.photobucket.com/albums/o110/leserz2002/bomberboat057.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

the colors on the plug seem to be yellow, red, white, black, brown, grey, not sure but the last might be orange very faded. the motor has power trim and tilt. elect choke.
