I have a 1990 16ft cobia sunskiff with a 1990 yamaha 55hp 2 stroke .... I let it sit for a week and now it won't do anything when turning the key. I checked connections at the battery, I checked for 12volts on the starter with a volt ohm meter that was good, I do not know where to check after that. Any input would be helpful
Thanks,
Dan

Leave the ignition off. Go to the starter solenoid. Which ever is the easiest, use heavy pliers or a screwdriver across the two big terminals. It will spark but see if the motor will turn over. If it does then your problem is the primary of the solenoid, the wiring to it, the key switch or the neutral start switch.
A manual would sure be a good investment.

verify neutral first.
check the master fuse--a short little guy--that cuts off the whole show. The owner's manual (FWIW) says it's "the fuse" so if you find it, you got it!
