200 is a great deal for a hull and trailer!

if the doors are somewhat in tact, keep them around to make a template for new ones.

even still its not a bad deal. the great things about the aluminum hulls is that they dont require much to get them into tip top shape.

Wow, that one isn't even that old to have been neglected that long. Glad you saved it! Good luck with it.

My thoughts exactly...I've seen those steelheaders stickers all over the state on big water rigs. Quite the big club. They are all from downstate so we considered them weekend warriors when I lived up in Petoskey:D

Nice score for $200. Having a pole barn to work in will make this winter project easy...get out the spaceheaters;)

Re: 1972 Starcraft SS rescue

Wow bunky, that is a really nice find, Floor is really shot but. That is easy to redo your self. Me and a buddy recently rescued a 1972 Star craft 18ft super sport I/O from his dads back yard. The boat had been siting for the past twenty years. 4 years undercover. when we got there to pull the boat out we could see that there was a small bee nest there. So we just quickly hitched it up and took it home. Later that night my buddy sprayed the bees nest with bug spray. and let it sit for a couple days. So the floor and Dash were gutted, Along with all of the seating. when we were tearing out the floor , we noticed that it was no small bee nest. It was a giant bee nest. About the size of the hole bow. Now the floor is being redone now. Fun project to work on though.
