I need one that:
1) Has a nice 4-7" or so readable color screen
2) Is not "made" for the offshore hardcore chart plotter. By that I mean I need some basic waypoint abilities, just in a nice easy to learn interface. I do not want to spend more than 30 mins in a manual.
3) Is a newer model, not one they been selling since 2005.
4) Comes with lakes pre-loaded
5) Fishfinder/depth a bonus but not required. Barometer/weather a plus.

I am looking at the Oregon 400i, but want ya'lls opinions/suggestions before I pull the trigger. Thanks.

Re: Please help me choose a marine GPS

A few weeks ago I bought a Garmin 530 re-manufacrured on e-bay and it has everything you want. It has the full Garmin warranty and there is not a mark on it. It comes in the original Garmin box.
The new price is over $600, e-bay was $380 you need to go to Garmin website and look at what this thing does, it's awsome.
