flywheel removal

I have a 1986 Mercury 4 horse ob. I'm trying to remove lead assembly wire, and replace it and I can't reach it. I want to take the flywheel off, so I can reach the wire.How hard is it to remove the wheel? Or is it not worth it, to go that way. Bud

Hi,

It is pretty easy with a flywheel puller.
Some auto shops will rent them to you. (so I've read on these forums)
