I Have A 2005 Rinker 192 With A 4.3 Volvo 190hp Engine And An Extended Swim Platform. I Trailer It On A 3,100lb Max Trailer But Have Always Felt The Trailer Seemed Overloaded.
Rinker's Web Site Gives The Dry Weight Of A 192 As 2,690lbs, But I Now Beleive That That Is The Weight Of A 192 With The Lighter Base Mercruiser 3.0 135hp Engine, And No Extended Swim Platform.
If I'm Correct, My Boat With The 4.3 Volvo And Swim Platform Would Actually Run Approx. 3,020lbs (vs. 2,690). Add A Full Tank Of Gas And Gear And I'm Up To 3,350lbs (way Over My Trailers 3100lb Limit).
The 2 Questions I'm Hoping Some Knowledgeable Rinker Owners Can Answer Are (1) What Is The The Actual Weight Of A 05' 192 With A Volvo 4.3l 190 And An Extended Swim Platform, And (2) How Much, If Any, Over Max Posted Weight Is Considered Safe To Load And Pull On A Trailer (i've Been Told Up To 10% Over Label Weight Is Geneally Ok).
Thanks For Your Help!
