I just recently purchased a 21ft fishmaster with a 2000, 200hp saltwater EFI. I was checking the alternator output like I've done on older engines by turning off the battery. The engine died and won't start back up, it will turn but won't fire. None of the gauges are working either. The previous owner told me that on this type engine you cannot disconnet the battery when it's running. I called a local shop and they confirmed that fact, the mechanic said that I may have popped the fuse. I forgot to ask where the fuse is located. Has anyone had the similar problem, what size fuse and where is it located?
