Default aluminum trailers and galvanic corrosion

Does anyone have a good method for stopping galvanic corrosion on aluminum boat trailers? I have an aluminum trailer that is used exclusively for launching in salt water. The bolts are stainless and corrosion is taking place around the bolt holes. I use Corrosion X (green can for salt water use) with some success. Would replacing bolts with hot-dipped galvanized ones be a solution? Thanking you in advance for any advice you might have concerning this matter.

Default Re: aluminum trailers and galvanic corrosion

I have a galvanized trailer and launch in the ocean at times. Even though mine is galvanized, I always spray it down with "salt away" right after I launch and right after I retrieve. I also flush the engine with salt away after every use in the ocean. Not a direct answer to your question I realize but at least a suggestion to help prevent / slow down corosion.
