Does any one know how to fit a kill switch to a 76 merc 200 (20HP)?

Can one be wired in to the stop switch circuit to do the same job if the cord is pulled?

If your engine is not electric start you just omit that part of the system.

I got a switch for my '76 merc 7.5 and a '69 merc 9.8 at a hardware store that a lot of farmers use. It was, I believe, for a tractor or other outside farm machinery. It had a rubber cover over the switch, and fit the factory hole perfectly, and it had a very nice appearance after installation. The factory switches are pretty high and this one only cost about $12 and it was "in stock".
Just something to consider.
