Having trouoble with oil injection removal !

Hi all, Have a 1989 Mercury 135 Black Max started oil injection removal by following instructions on the Bassinhound site. Everything went smooth until oil pump removal. After removing the pump, I cannot seem to remove the bearing assembly and the driven gear. Any suggestions on removal ? Thanks for all your help in advance.

Just bought a 2000 115hp and previous owner didnt tell me he deleted oil injection. Im wondering if this do it yourselfer did it right. My pump looks like its still there. Going to check out that web site. Yes i bought without testing the motor lol was a deal.
