Lost steering on my 83 Searay 192...kinda. The following happened last time out...
When I turn the wheel full left, the stern drive gets stuck there and can only come back to straight after spinning the wheel back and forth til it "catches".
When running straight, the stern drive would push it self over full left. After spininng the wheel back and forth you could again regain steering, momentarily.
So my rookie question is do I replace the steering cable or is there adjustments possible.
Any info appreciated...
And I know free advice is worth exactly what I paid for it..
