mercury thunderbolt 850 need pictures

I have a mercury 850 thundrebolt. I have tried to clean the carbs but have found an alternative route. The problem I am having is I have forgot where everything goes. I am in need of pics to connect wires and put everything back. I am kicking myself now for not taking pics before tearing apart, or least putting it back together after I took it apart. If anyone can help I will be truly greatful.

Is it a distributor ignition motor or ADI? If you do not know, post the year and serial number

I think its a 73 maybe. I check tomorrow when I get home. I am not too familar with boat motors but I'll try working on anything at least once. I took the top off and began removing the front parts to get to the carbs. So now I have disconnected wires and bolts that need to find their home. I think have manual somewhere, just have to find it. I just like to have pictures to work by. Thanks be back tomorrow.

A 1973 Merc 850 has a distributor. The three distributor wires go to their respective colors on the port side of the switchbox.

Motor harness: Red goes to top starboard side of switchbox, white under it. Match the switchbox colors. Black goes to solenoid ground. Grey to choke solenoid. Yellow to starter solenoid primary winding. Brown is tach sender which connects to one of the yellow stator wires at the rectifier.

Green goes from coil to switchbox. Match color.

I still would love to have a picture of the motor, front and sides, with the lid off if someone has one.
