I am having trouble with my 1978 (rebuilt powerhead 2 seasons ago)
disconnrcted battery cables a couple of months ago, (no time to use boat)
charged up battery connected cables now nothing no click, no starter spin,
battery is good,
jumped starting motor with my truck and motor starts right up, and will shut down with key, then nothing when I turn to crank position.
Had a spare ignition switch so swapped out still nothing, so put back ols one after testing.
Swapped soiloinod for new one still nothing so I am returning it.
Have power on fight side of soiloinod direct from pos battery treminal, no volts on yellow/red on small side of soiloined at on key position (which I think is correct) dont seem to have any volts on red wire back at key switch,
cant figure this out at all, any help would be great

look for a fuse in a red connector on eng.harness,or check neutral safty switch,make sure all harness connections are clean and tite

I did check the fuse in red wire off soiloined and it is fine,
safety switch is a mystery to me, my control box is the old style with no wiring in it at all, all my wires that come from the motor end up at the key switch, but i have no power there, switch does test good from raised M to m in on position and seems to shut off fine
