used boat trailer?????

I have a 12' jonboat, my son who is 14 years old

uses it all the time. The problem is I have to load it into the back of my truck and take it to the lake for him. My back wont take it anymore!

I have looked in the paper, called all the boat shops, I have looked everywhere for a used trailer for this boat? Its like they dont exist?

All I can find is brand new trailers in the $500.00 dollar range. I dont want to pay that much for a trailer for a $150.00 dollar boat. any help in how I can locate a trailer would be greatly helpful.

Used boat trailers are almost impossible to find.

Since the jon boat is a flat bottom, perhaps you can find a utility trailer and just lenghthen the tongue.

I tried the utility trailer thing. It sits too low to the ground.

I think that would be perfect???

The lower the trailer, the less you have to back it into the water.
