When I start my 1992 mercury xr6 I get a steady beep when the key is turned on. The motor has not been started in over a week, so it can't be overheated. Disconnected the over heat sensor, no help, disconnected the oil pressure cap, no help, I still get a steady beep. What do I need to do next?
