Am in the process of buying a 1959 to 1964/5/6??? 14 ft runabout. Can't find any info tags on the boat. Is there someplace that maybe I'm not looking.

If your talking about a capacity plate the tells you the maximum HP motor and weight of passengers and gear the boat can handle, I don't think one was required on boats of those years. I owned a 1974 Fiberform runabout that had one, but my current boat, a 1965 Larson, does not.
i just got a 1960 runabout. the serial number tag is on the back of the boat (inside). mine was painted over and i had to spend a hour with goof off and a toothbrush cleaning the paint of the plate. first 2 digits are the length with the next 2 the year (mine was 1660...)
good luck on finding info though. ive searched and searched but can find no info on the net. i was trying to find a fiberform club for help also but no luck.
