New Larson owner, Bimini question and clueless about anchoring

Hello all, we now own our first boat, a 2001 Larson 180 SEI. So far it's been great fun, taken it out twice.

I've got two questions: The boat doesn't have a Bimini Top. Should I try to buy a used one or a new one and should I have it installed or is that something one can easily do yourself.

Also, we are planning a camping trip, the boat's got to stay in the water near shore overnight. I have no anchor but I rather not beach the boat. What kind of anchor do I need and where do I connect it to the boat?

Best regards

I would buy a new Bimini Top. If you have to drill the mounting plates, tape it off first and start the drill backwards so it won't chip the gelcoat. On the anchor overnight, no comment.

Good luck!
