Just wanted to let you guys know, I seemed to have solved my issues. Turns out the only fitting on the outdrive that I didn't pull off was packed with chunks of an old impeller! I feel like an idiot! 2 years of problems and it turns out to be something so simple. Haven't been posting for the last couple of weeks because I have been boating, so I guess it all worked out in the end - just to a loonnnggg time!
