I need to change my trim motor on my 150 Hp Black Max ,1988. I changed the whole unit with a used one, hydraulic and motor, five years ago when the hydaulic started leaking. The motor is now shot. My engine is mounted on a Gill bracket. I can't believe that you have to remove the engine to get at the trim motor. Also the trim motor is in the water. No wonder they don't last. What a terrible design. Anyone else have this problem?
